Thanksgiving is a good time to offer thanks and gratitude. It’s also a good time to create memories that will last a lifetime.
Here are some ideas to help create healthy traditions
1)Start your day with a Turkey Trot. Get outside and walk or run with friends and family. Many cities have some you can sign up for or create your own!
2)Eat a healthy breakfast to get metabolism going and prevent overeating later (egg and fruit, oatmeal, avocado toast)
3) Stay hydrated-try to drink ¼ your body weight in oz by noon
4) Take a walk after eating
5) Give yourself some grace. Create a day that is stress free and find some time to relax with the ones you care about.
